All DSB1 schools will be closed to students on Friday, June 9, as DSB1 staff engage in a day of learning during a scheduled Professional Activity Day.

May 18, 2023, marks the second annual Students Against Impaired Driving (SAID) Day. This day recognizes the importance of safe and sober driving and honours the memory of those whose lives have been lost to impaired and distracted driving.
